Free Weekly Walk And Talk ~ The Healthy Steps Project, May 2019

20180927_130417

When I think about what’s essential to my well-being, my thoughts focus on family and friends, as well as on nature, good health and authentic connections with other women. I also relish learning and sharing interesting, useful information

In May I’ll be leading weekly walk-and-talk gatherings for women who are interested in  health, nutrition, and nature.

Each week we’ll meet at a different location and discuss a specific health-related topic. The format will include 15-20 minutes for sharing information, and the rest of the time for walking and discussing that topic.

DATES:  Sunday, May 5th; Saturday, May 11th (to avoid Mothers’ Day); Sunday, May 19th; and Sunday, May 26th.

TIME: 9:30-11:00AM.

LOCATIONS: May 5th, Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area in Northampton; May 11th, Amethyst Brook Conservation Area in Amherst; May 21st, the Connecticut River Dike in Hadley; May 28th, Sylvio O’Conte Nature Trail in Hadley, MA.

On May 21st we’ll meet at the Hadley Dike informal parking area, next to a large tree on North St., across from where West Street intersects with North. This is in Hadley, MA.

I invite you to join me and encourage you to bring a friend or two! These walk and talks are free.

Dress for the weather, including light rain. In case of heavy rain, I’ll let you know the plan (as long as you RSVP by the Friday before each walk). Wear comfortable walking shoes that can get muddy or wet, in case there’s been rain.

What else to bring? A water bottle for yourself.

Also, please RSVP through Contact Me by the Thursday, or Friday latest, before each walk, so that I can send you details about the topic and place where we’ll be meeting.

Check back here each week to confirm the location of the next walk.

I hope to walk-and-talk with you soon!
